Welcome to the fungus finder guide. This tool is designed help you learn about important tree fungi. The tabs across the top of the lists separate the fungi into categories. The icons to the right of the fungi names are buttons; mouse over them to see what they do. The one of the far right opens a description of the fungi (if I have one) plus a link to show some photos.

This tool is designed to be used by arborists to help learn about tree fungi. If you are a layperson with a plan to id your fungus so you can figure out what fungicide to use, please stop now and get some help from a good arborist. We'd be happy to look at some photos for you for free if you email them in. If your tree has a fungus growing on it, you may need a risk assessment in addition to a good diagnosis.
